Cynthia deals with each person in the class as an individual providing support for beginners and challenge for others. She shows gentle humour and humility in her class and her practice. She is an inspirational teacher because she is teaching what she lives and there is resonance in what she says. It motivates me to get to class even when I am tired or flagging. Cynthia’s class has had a ‘whole life effect’ for me: She shares her music and journey in an honest and open way without seeking approval and this has helped me find my path again at the age of 44.

Emphasis is placed on getting thngs correct at one's own pace and that it is not a competition. As the class is conducted in an enthusiastic way, it has made me go off and find things out for myself. Cynthia’s ability to help at every stage of the posture and correct you once in the pose is invaluable. It makes the posture feel right which helps to improve my yoga practice. I have a very stressful life running 3 business 2 teenage children and husband and everyday pressures of life. I was advised to take up yoga by my doctor, I have greatly benefited from the breathing and relaxation techniques, this enables me to deal with everyday stressful situations making me more relaxed at work, in all my leisure interests and most of all giving me quality time with my family.

Cynthia’s yoga is a more relaxed and enjoyable class than I had previously experienced. I find that the relaxed atmosphere helps to improve the yoga. I like the way the classes do not follow a strict pattern and the class tends to evolve in a way that coincides with the way I am feeling. As a proffessional Horticulturealist I spend a great deal of time bending and lifting. I am now less prone to back ache and my posture has improved.

I suffer from back problems and hyperventilation syndrome and yoga helps to keep these in check.
